What does the 20% Student Grant mean?
You can see on LPU’s page currently the ‘Actual Fee’ is ₹50,000 per semester and the ‘Applicable Fee’ is ₹40,400 per semester.
This can be changed at any time. The grant may be changed or removed. If you go to pay and the grant is not showing then you will be charged the standard fee of ₹50,000 per semester. Always check the official page.
T&C Apply. As noted on LPU’s site the grant is T&C Apply. Contact LPU’s admissions team (admissions@lpuonline.com) to confirm if the grant is applicable to all 4 semesters or just the current semester.

EMI Options
LPU state: “No-Cost EMI available”. You can select whether you are an Indian or International applicant, No-Cost or Standard EMI and whether you want to pay per semester or a lump sum. There are multiple EMI options to choose from (6, 12, 18, 24 months). There is no text to show how much you would pay per month. Use the fee calculator on lpuonline.com. Contact LPU to confirm who the EMI is with and if there is a processing fee.
International Fees
The fees stated above are for Indian, Sri Lankan, Bhutanese, Nepalese, Bangladeshi & Afghan applicants. If you are from another country then you should select ‘International’ on the LPU fee calculator. There is no text to show what the fee would be in US$. So we have not published.
Scholarships & Waivers

Is LPU the cheapest online MBA?
No. LPU’s online MBA is more expensive (at standard fee) than Manipal University Jaipur & NMIMS online MBAs. However LPU’s own distance MBA is much cheaper.

What is the LPU Online MBA total fee for 2 years?
At standard fee our calculation shows it would cost ₹2,01,000 (4 x ₹50,000 plus ₹1000). If you qualify for the 20% grant then you will pay less. Contact LPU to find out how many semesters you qualify for.
If the 20% grant is removed what happens?
On the day you pay you will pay whatever is shown on LPU’s page. Without the grant you will be charged the standard fee of ₹50,000 per semester.
Does the exam fee include anything?
Yes. LPU state an exam fee of ₹2000 per semester is included.
Is there a registration fee?
Yes. There is a one time, non-refundable registration fee of ₹1000.
Can I pay in EMI?
Yes. LPU state there is a No-Cost EMI option available. The options are 6,12,18,24 months. Check the calculator to see how much per month.
Is there a discount for paying a lump sum?

Are there any scholarships?

Why is the LPU Distance MBA cheaper than the Online MBA?
It is a different learning method (distance learning with PCP classes). The fee is ₹16,500 per semester (or ₹66,000 for 4 semesters).
Which is the cheapest online MBA?
Looking at the official fees LPU’s own Distance MBA is the cheapest. LPU’s Online MBA is more expensive (standard fee of ₹2,00,000) than Manipal University Jaipur (₹1,84,000) & NMIMS (₹1,96,000).
Are there different fees for each specialisation?
No. All 12 specialisations on LPU Online MBA show the same fee on 26th October 2026.
